IBM Consulting is seeking an Application Developer – Microsoft .NET Stack to join its Client Innovation Centers in Bengaluru. This role involves contributing to the full software development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and support. You will work on building software that supports client hybrid cloud and AI journeys, using Microsoft technologies to deliver scalable and high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing applications using .NET Core, C#, and Microsoft stack technologies
• Designing and integrating REST APIs, working with Entity Framework and LINQ
• Leveraging Angular 15+, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3 for frontend development
• Troubleshooting performance issues in code and databases (MS SQL)
• Applying software design principles like CQRS, mediator, and repository pattern
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide solutions
• Working within Agile and Test-Driven Development (TDD) methodologies
• Participating in CI/CD pipeline optimization and maintaining code quality with SonarQube
• Staying updated with new Microsoft technologies and integrating them into projects

Key Technical Skills:

.NET Core, C#, REST API, LINQ, Entity Framework, Angular 15+, Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, MS SQL, XUnit, Jest, CQRS, Repository Pattern, Mediator, CI/CD Pipelines, Git, SonarQube, Messaging and Reverse Proxy

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent (required)
• Master’s Degree (preferred)
• Strong IT background with proven experience in the Microsoft .NET stack
• Proficiency in backend (.NET Core, Entity Framework, APIs) and frontend (Angular 15+, Typescript) development
• Database knowledge including MS SQL performance tuning
• Familiarity with software design patterns (CQRS, repository, mediator)
• Understanding of authentication and authorization (Windows, JWT, basic auth)
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices, Agile methodology, and version control with Git
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaborative abilities

This role also requires occasional travel (up to 20% or one day per week) for project support and collaboration with clients.
